Shipping policy

Sweets and Sour is based in Staines-Upon-Thames, UK. We have two walk-in shops, one in Egham and one in Salisbury, and we also operate online.

For mainland UK orders, we use a DPD Next Working Day Delivery service. Any UK orders outside of mainland UK will take longer to be delivered, but will still be delivered with DPD. Prices are based on weight.

For international orders, we use both DPD and DHL depending on the items ordered. Prices vary based on where the order is being shipped and how much it weighs. Delivery times also vary.

Whilst DPD is a Next Working Day delivery service, please do allow up to 5 working days before contacting us regarding your order.

We sometimes work at a two day processing time for orders however we strive to ship all orders out before that time period. We often offer same day dispatch before 12pm (noon) which means orders are shipped the same day.

Please note in busy periods a processing time may be put into effect.

Our shipping costs are based on weight and these are the prices given directly from the couriers. These prices are not negoitable and do include VAT and fuel surcharge percentage.

DPD and DHL reserve the right to change our shipping prices at any given time, if this was to happen, this will be reflected in our shipping prices.

Please note as the consumer you are liable to provide us with the correct address.

If any parcels are returned to us, a further delivery charge will be charged out for the order to be resent to you.

Fragile products are ordered at the customers own risk, if a product is fragile this will be stated in the product description. Sweets and Sour will not be held responsible for any damage of fragile products.

Different delivery preferences can be set up with DPD such as choosing a safe place, rescheduling delivery, etc… however this will be at the consumer’s risk. Any damaged or stolen parcels as a result of a delivery preference will be liable to the consumer.
